Five years ago, I identified and fulfilled a void in the Chicago athletic market for a diverse, hyperlocal and non-traditional social running community. Since then, I’ve worn many hats as photographer, brand manager, community relations manager, thought leader, social media coordinator and aesthetic designer. As a result, I have an excellent ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and adapt to new roles and complex challenges. See below for ways in which I have employed my skills:
-Sourced and secured partnerships with over 25 local businesses offering discounts and promotions on food, beverage, and merchandise while utilizing partner locations as venues for weekly branded activations
-Raised $25,000 for suicide prevention and mental health education through our most recent Humboldt Mile; a USATF-Certified, one mile race in Humboldt Park with local, national, and international brands, Dark Matter Coffee, Nike, and Mikkeller Brewing benefiting non-profit organization, Hope For The Day
-Increased 2017 e-commerce visitors (6.9%), orders (26.1%), conversion (15.8%), and revenue (22.3%) from prior year (2016) through social media marketing, community partnership development and expansion of weekly activations into various neighborhoods
-Created and successfully launched #Chicagoisforrunners and #3run2 branded hashtags currently resulting in 15,000+ organic impressions
-Execute four weekly activations per week, drawing on average 80-120 participants
I merged my love for community and content creation into a comprehensive photography business. My Clients include: Nike, The Chicago Cubs, Dyson, Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Chicago Children’s Museum, and Studio Three Fitness & Wellness.
